Phys Development Laboratory Ltd. was found in 2007 as a project company for a metrology development for the solar industry. In the upcoming years we built metrology systems for several solar factories in Taiwan and China for slicon brick inspection and quality analysis. As R&D never stops in our lab, in 2014 we built an inline wafer potoluminescence system for Delta Electronics Corp., and then entered into the semiconductor industry. Today we also cooperate wits TSMC in sub projects.
In the 18 years we developed 7 individual products from experiments to the marketable products. We built roughly 50 machines and provided the support for them. This industrial experience is our strength and base for our future activities.
In 2024 together with our semiconductor metrology sales partner in China we entered the space industry.
Phys Ltd. became exclusive European distributor and direct business development partner of China’s largest space company.
Relevance to the space industry
Phys Ltd. as cooperative partner of China’s most important space company opened its portfolio with space quialified solar cells and strings. We continuously develop our products range in the field of satellite EPS components. Our definite role and aim is to match component quality to the European standards and requirements and build up trust towards Chinese origin components. Our R&D background is the driving power so we can directly cooperate in product customization and technical discussions with customers.. We have access to 50 years of space industry experience, and we are committed to transferring this knowledge to strengthen the local space ecosystem.
